We’ve become one of the fastest-growing forex brokers in the US1, and we're changing our name to reflect that.
WHAT THIS MEANS
We’re excited about our rebrand to tastyfx, but we understand there may be questions regarding what to expect or how this may impact you. Be assured we are here to answer any questions you may have.
For now, here are a few steps you can take:
- Keep doing what you normally do. Your account and login will all stay the same, and there should be no impact on your day-to-day trading.
- Login information will stay the same. Sign in to your account or call us to ensure your phone, e-mail, and address are current so you won’t miss any important messages from us. If you have not opted into marketing communications on your Accounts page, go to Settings > Marketing Communication. There, you can opt-in to receive news and alerts.
- Be on the lookout for any new updates, which we will send you via e-mail. Also, continue to visit our website and/or the tastyfx app. We will continue to provide updates as we make changes.

tastyfx will be a forex-focused, US-specific source of forex trading and entertainment. Our core technology and pricing will not change, but you will continue to have access to a top-tier forex trading experience.
Not only will you start seeing our new tastyfx logo appearing across our content, but our web presence is also getting a new look. See below for what has already changed:
Website: Our URL is now tastyfx.com. You will still be able to access our website from IG.com/us for the time being, but this URL will be deactivated in the near future so be sure to update your bookmarks now!
Social Media: Our social handles are changing to @tastyfx! If you are already following any of our social media accounts, you do not need to re-follow them. If you’re not already following our socials, follow us on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn & YouTube.
Emails: Our email addresses have changed to include @tastyfx.com. You can continue to use @ig.com email addresses for a limited time, but please start using @tastyfx.com email addresses (helpdesk.us@tastyfx.com, newaccounts.us@tastyfx.com, etc.) when contacting us until further notice. We will be sending out communications from our new email domain from now on.
Mobile App: Our award-winning app2 will now be rebranded to tastyfx, but the core experience and your account information will not change. If you already have our IG app downloaded, you will be asked to update it. However, if you haven't yet downloaded the app, you can easily find it available for download on both the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store to take advantage of the convenience and features it offers.
The forex trading platform you know and trust is not changing. Once you log into your account, you’ll find yourself in the familiar surroundings of the IG platform—a testament to our commitment to consistency and reliability in your trading experience—with our new tastyfx look. Despite the enhancements you’ll see on our site, our core platform remains unchanged in its foundation.
In the near future, we will deactivate the ig.com/us URL in place of our new URL: tastyfx.com. The ig.com/us URL will continue to work for a limited time, but we recommend updating any bookmarks and starting to use the tastyfx.com URL going forward.
Yes, temporarily. Your ig.com/us bookmarks will continue to work for a limited time, but we recommend updating them to use the tastyfx.com URL in preparation for our old URL being deactivated.

No, you will continue to log in with your current credentials.
The forex trading platform you know and trust is not changing. Once you log into your account, you’ll find yourself in the familiar surroundings of the IG platform with our new tastyfx look. Some mentions of IG might still be present as we fulfill this transition.
There is no need to download a new mobile app. At the time of your next update, your app will change to tastyfx and continue to provide you with all the features, functionality, and updates required to trade effectively without any interruption.
If you haven't yet downloaded the app, you can do so on both the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store to take advantage of the convenience and features it offers. Just search for tastyfx and install it on your device.
Our name change will not impact your eligibility for a funding bonus.
Yes, to qualify you must deposit $1,000 or more within 30 days of account activation, not withdraw during promotional period (90 days from account activation), and open 10 lots or more of qualifying forex pairs within 90 days of your account being activated. You can continue to qualify for these incentives just as before.
Your access to forex trading on Metatrader 4 (MT4) will continue uninterrupted. This powerful platform remains a staple of our forex trading offering, providing you with robust tools and features that cater to both novice traders and seasoned professionals.
We will continue to offer $0 commissions3 and competitive spreads as low as 0.8 pips4. This approach ensures that you can maximize your trading potential without the burden of additional costs.
tastyfx will continue to offer the option to open a demo account. This feature is designed to provide a risk-free environment where you can practice trading strategies, explore the platform's features, and gain confidence in your trading abilities without the pressure of risking real capital.

This is designed to ensure you're aware of events that could impact the markets and, consequently, your forex trading decisions.
